Fort Worth, Texas – Purpose Driven Youth Empowerment (PDYE), a nonprofit dedicated to promoting youth literacy, recently visited Trinity Basin Preparatory (Pafford Campus) in Fort Worth to distribute free books to first-grade students. Volunteers engaged with the young readers, fostering a love for books and encouraging them to develop strong literacy skills.
“Reading opens doors to endless opportunities,” said Nita Page, founder of PDYE. Trinity Basin Preparatory warmly welcomed the initiative, recognizing its alignment with the school’s mission to inspire and empower students.
The event was a great success, with first-grade students eagerly selecting books to take home. PDYE remains committed to supporting youth literacy and looks forward to expanding its outreach in the future.
Crowley ISD received more than 600 books in January 2024 from Purpose Driven Youth Empowerment (PDYE).
