All About Me Campaign

Due to the high demand for needs during this Pandemic, we are expanding our outreach to elementary, middle, and high school girls to promote good personal hygiene. An ongoing goal of ours is to encourage character building and self-worth. It has been researched and a known fact that children in poverty often go without necessary essential items to manage proper hygiene. Our nation is experiencing an economic crisis; there is a spike in numbers of even more children living without their necessities.

In addition to the daily struggle to find food and a safe place to sleep, acquiring hygiene items such as soap, hand sanitizer, lotion, deodorant, shampoo, a toothbrush, and toothpaste, and other feminine products can be very challenging.

This fall, we are on a mission. We need your help! We are planning a virtual seminar for young ladies, ages 10-18, in November 2020. Our goal is to invite 100 of these young ladies to participate in a 1-2 hour “All About Me” seminar via Zoom conferencing. A host of guest speakers will share empowering messages with an emphasis on fostering excellent personal hygiene. After the workshop, every participant will receive by mail a feminine personal hygiene toiletry case filled with hygiene items.

A donation of $25 will supply a young girl in need with her hygiene toiletry case filled with personal hygiene products. A donation of $50 will supply two girls, and $100 will provide four girls in need. The ultimate goal is to raise an amount of $3,000, including the cost of 100 hygiene cases plus shipping.

Thank you in advance for helping our young ladies maintain a healthier lifestyle by giving them the confidence they need to be the best they can be.
